Notes

  • A BS-EE major who fails to pass ECE 323 cannot take ECE 324 (Electronics II), and therefore, must either postpone Senior Design Project for one year or take ECE 354 (Computer Systems Lab II) as an alternative prerequisite. (A grade of D or better is needed in ECE 353, Computer Systems Lab I, to take ECE 354.)

  • A student who fails ECE 323 (or any other required Junior level course) will likely need to take a Social World elective over the summer.

  • Interested students who are still PR-ENGIN majors must fill out an Override Request Form (here) and take it to the Undergraduate Programs Office. (Location can be found under Advising Resources.)

  • A student who passes this course, but earns below C, is not required to retake the course, but may choose to retake the course to improve his/her cumulative GPA. Note that it is the LAST grade, NOT the best grade that counts. For more information, go to Course Retake Policy.
