Alumnus Parag Patel, who graduated from the UMass Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in 2004, is the co-founder and chief operating officer of Invoiced, a leading accounts receivable automation platform, which was just named to the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies. Inc. claims that its 5000 List is the most prestigious ranking of its kind for rating emerging companies.
According to an article inthe Insightful Accountant, Invoiced debuts on the Inc. 5000 with a ranking of 1,172, placing it in the top quartile of all businesses earning recognition on the list. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

According to the article, Invoiced has thousands of clients around the world now relying on Invoiced for billing, collections, and payment acceptance. Parag has an extensive background in software, including engineering and consulting roles with Verizon and other startups in fintech, healthcare, and telecommunications.
